ECT “works” by damaging the brain.
The Committee for Truth in Psychiatry (CTIP) is a National Organization with over 500 former electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) patients. Their mission is to provide the public and possible future ECT patients with information about this form of therapy using their shared experiences and knowledge. CTIP is an important example of mad-led activism.
